abs sensor01 Sep 2005 00:57 GMT1
Citroen Xantia, front offside abs sensor. It causes intermittent fault light
on panel (which is an MoT fail apparently).
Thought I would take it out and clean the connections-thereby saving £80 if
successful.

Ford Direct - Tricky Question31 Aug 2005 13:27 GMT8
Not for the first time I find myself with a car question I would prefer
to ask here before approaching my Ford dealer.
Having bought a F.D. Mondeo, 9 months old, with 10,000 miles on the
clock, I checked the levels two weeks later after about 260 miles.   The
leather seats31 Aug 2005 07:51 GMT1
Ok, car will be 1 year old on 1st September but the leather on the
drivers seat is a bit shinier and 'looser' than the passenger seat (just
a bit). I'm thinking about trying the Autoglym leather care cream just

Radio dead after battery failure30 Aug 2005 20:18 GMT2
The battery on my Nissan Exterra died a natural death. However, after
the new one was put in, the radio (and related items like the clock and
CD player) does not come on. It does not appear that any fuses have
blown.
Nissan Micra Flooding30 Aug 2005 20:08 GMT9
My daughters Nissan Micra refused to start today - engine turned over ok but
it would not catch.
In frustration she called out the AA (homestart) who asked if it had been
moved.
Mondeo vs Focus reliability30 Aug 2005 18:37 GMT20
My current 306 is tarting to get a bit ropey, and as I'm doing
about 20k miles a year I was considering getting a second-hand
Focus TDi due to their supposed reliability and economy.
However I have noticed that there are a lot of high-spec 2.0TDi
Driving economically?30 Aug 2005 18:14 GMT20
Given the silly fuel prices I was wondering which driving style will
give better MPG and save fuel?
For e.g: If I'm driving at a steady 40mph along a flat road using about
1/4 throttle in top gear and I approach an incline, to maintain a steady
S70 Tools29 Aug 2005 23:34 GMT22
Been studying a few repair procedures for the S70. One thing I've noticed
is that there are a number of Torx fixings, so I'll be getting a decent
set of bits. I also noticed that the hub carriers have bolts that require
a torx socket (i.e. Exx). Does anyone know if there are ...

Lowering a Xantia suspention29 Aug 2005 21:59 GMT12
I have seen a couple of Xantia with what looks like their suspension

Regards
Tony
