| Battery - loss of water | 05 Dec 2005 11:30 GMT | 1 |
Left a battery in the garage for a couple of months. When checked, I had to top up all the cells with about a pint of water. No sign of battery case cracked and although it took a few days to charge up properly, the hydrometer reading is now ok.

I'm getting a bit desperate now, I hope someone can help me... I've got a Fiesta 1.8D, 1996. Earlier this week, the charge warning light came on (well, half on) whilst driving home. It was also obvious the thing wasn't charging, as my lights had faded by the time I got home.

| When to replace a dinged windscreen? | 03 Dec 2005 18:11 GMT | 57 |
My V70 windscreen caught a flying stone over the weekend. Was a hard hit at 70 mph. It's left a mark which is about a 2mm circle with a smaller 1mm one just above it. It's smack bang in the middle of the screen. So does this mean the screen needs replacing ? Has it weakened it ...

I've got a current model Honda Jazz. Water leaks in through the top horizontal doorseal of both rear doors. The door seals have been replaced (by the supplying dealer) but the leak is still there. The dealer says he has also adjusted the fit of the rear doors.
