axle (say both front) are the same age?
For instance, if you replace one front you should always replace the
other at the same time?

Couldn't resist re-posting this from another forum.
"Having just paid £115 for the oil on my cars first service (8.25

oil for a service? Anyone done it or is it one of those things where
Megane cambelt broke - repairs?20 Dec 2005 09:01 GMT18
Is this likely to be DIY-able for a novice on these (and
most new!) engines? Any ideas (guesses, even!) at garage
repair cost (to enable cost benefit comparison) welcome.
Too late to start using fully synthetic engine oil?20 Dec 2005 02:03 GMT13
I have my car from new and have clocked up 17 200 miles.  The past oil
changes were done by the dealerships and I have to assume they did not use
the expensive oil.  So, is a change over to, say, Mobil-1 at this stage too
risky, or  is it OK?  If it is almost risk-free, naturally my ...

I bought this car back in June, it drove nicely on a test drive around
