I have a Rover 214 SEi (N-reg 1995). When I am pulling away in first gear

second gear, but not always, and never in third or fourth.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Had my Nissan almera in at a main dealer for some body work repair. When the

I'm sure people are really interested :-], but I changed the HT leads
on my Astra and it made a world of difference. [Note to self: back to
basics to begin with before you go on a 'guessing spree']. The guy I
bought it from said he'd changed the HT leads, and to be fair they

Metro cooling system hose fittings...17 Dec 2005 08:34 GMT2
I've got a lovely little Rover metro SLI 114, that has a strange setup.
All the other Metros I've seen have the water pipes coming from the radiator
going into the engine in the opposite position. I.e. the position is
reversed, as the pipe from the top of the radiator goes in the ...

Ridgid right angle impact driver16 Dec 2005 21:18 GMT28
I need an impact driver for removing seats in trucks (some have
slightly rusted bolts).  Has anyone used the Ridgid right angle impact
driver?  If so, I would like your opinion as to whether it could be a
replacement for an air ratchet wrench?  Is it the only right angle
That bloody Zetec-S 1.25l (June 1998 build)16 Dec 2005 15:14 GMT12
OK - I've now changed the ICV, changed the TPS, reset the ECU several times
and the problem is just as bad as ever.  I drove from Oxford to London the
M40 last night and was actually shouting at the car by the time I got to
London.  It's not funny rolling along at 5mph in a heavy ...
Car warm up.15 Dec 2005 18:49 GMT38
In this cold weather, should you allow an engine to warm up for a
while before pulling away. (Ignore the fact that the windows are
frosted up as that's a side issue)
Friend seems to think it's better to pull away almost instantly on a

them whether they ever had the cambelt changed, maybe save me the time and
the expense.
