I have just bought a brand new 2005 published Haynes manual (Fiesta). The last one I bought was about 25 years ago. I see that they still use the same crappy paper with the same poor quality photographs. Does anyone else think the same or is it me?? Is there a better alternative ...

In frosty mornings I often see neighbours clearing windscreen using kettle of hot water .Dont know how hot the water is but could any damage be done to car using this method e.g. could rubber seals be damaged.
