This just happened this morning. After putting the heat on full blast
to clear condensation the heater now won't turn off!! The air was still
boiling hot when it should have already cooled down. Another thread

Ok i bought a 2000 "W" reg astra estate, when driving it home i noticed a
knocking noise from the engine and the oil light flickering.Took the oil

My 1998 Rover 420 has a strange fault - when driving, the ABS light
sometimes comes on, the temperature guage reads high (not overheating
though) and if the headlights are on, the bulbs blow.  If the headlights
aren't on and the radio is, this "crashes" and goes silent and ...

I had to get my cam belt changed at 80k on my P reg VW Golf and my mate
recommended his mechanic as he was quite reasonable.
Anyway he did the cam belt change , full service and MOT for £350 and
when he returned it said there was a slight noise whenever you took

Hi, a couple of days ago i got a renewal quote from the AA for their basic
recovery service which  was £112. Then when i went on line the quote from
them was £23 cheaper at £89.
When i rang up the AA the girl told me that, it "was for new customers".

Is there such a thing as a worn carburetor? Do they wear out or is it
just a case of adjustment? Would a replacement engine come with its

Hi.  Need to replace discs on clio 1.2
One of the star screw heads is shot. Do i need to drill it out or can i
just bash disc off?  Is the said screw needed  for anything other tahn to
stop discs turning when refitting wheel?
