I started my normal drive to work this morning and I thought. Strange heater not getting warm. The hose underneath the thermostat started to stream water at the end evidently underpressure. I removed the thermostat connected back up and drove on with the bonnet

Can I jump start a car by using an extra *TWO* car batteries in parallel to do the boosting? Is this safe? Is it likely to damage any of the batteries involved?

My wife has a Rover 25 automatic (nearly 3years old) done 17,000miles the engine warning light sometimes comes on if she cruises gently at about 28mph and she noticed the engines vibrates slightly . The local garage can't find the problem and said the on-board computer initially ...

For those who remember this......both bulbs were dud :-) FWIW just sold a nissan micra, 18 years old, owned from new, never had to replace a bulb in it.

Prise away rubber door strips and check welded seams ..... water gets trapped under rubber and attacks poorly treated welded seams forming rust and can spread thro cill etc. Just spotted it in time on the specimen I've just bought .
