So I finally get my thumping noise fixed (wheelbearings) and
immediately notice that I seem to be lacking power.  It pretty much
refuses to rev past 3000, just doesn't seem to have the guts to do it,

The existing one is corroded and leaking, so I have a replacement and a
new gasket.

A friend has a 2001 2.0L petrol Passat with a problematic battery drain.
With the alternator connection removed from the battery, the doors
closed and locked (and the alarm set) there is a continuous 0.2A (200mA)
drain from the battery.

I'm damned if I can see how to take the handles off (to get inside the
door). I have two Haynes, one shows a wire clip that you hook out from
opposite the "crank" bit, and it isn't one of those. The other shows a blade
tool inserted behind the crank, but I can't see any grooves / ...

i am trying to remove the internal rear hatch trim for a 2003 model 2 door
hatch.
there 2 screws in the hatch pull down holds, with these removed it is not
budging.

I'm looking at a V70 D5 - 2003.  It's been used for airport runs for it's
whole life, so has done ~ 250k miles mostly on motorways.  It's got a full
Volvo service history at a reputable volvo franchise about 10 miles away -

Son just had his car lock broken by some little low life. Drivers door lock
broken, central locking still works from passenger side, locking all doors.
question is, how easy is it to replace the lock barrel and how expensive ?/

Car is a 1996 Toyota Carina and key is stuck in ignition. It works o/k,
car can be started and driven but key can't be withdrawn.
Any easy solutions ?

Help! I've got a vw golf mk3 and both front door locks have decided to pack
in.
First the drivers-side went a couple of weeks ago, but the central locking
still operated from the key in the passenger side lock, but on my way home
