How do I know when my engine coolant is low. When its low can I just top up ? or do I have to drain? it first then add new coolant. Is engine coolant generic or is there a specific type for vw golfs ? thanks

Been having the temp gauge doing weird things, Starts off cold as normal, goes up a bout a quarter when urban driving, but only reaches half if I'm sitting in traffic for ages, then as soon as I'm moving again goes down almost to complete cold again. Temp sensor or something

My dad's Mondeo has a dodgy rear door, it won't open. All the other doors are fine, but one of the rears feels as if it's locked (no resistance when the handle is pulled). Is there an easy way of getting into the door ? I've not looked at it yet,
