Whats the quickest way of getting it out. Bearing in mind i do not
have a hoist at present.
Throu the bonnet, or lift the body and out the bottom.
What are the pitfalls either way.
SEAT Toledo stuck in Park18 Jan 2006 16:43 GMT8
My Toledo SE 20V Auto (2000, W Reg)  has started to stick in park.  When I
depress the brake pedal the light on the console by the transmission lever
stays on so I cannot move the lever into drive.  After a number of attempts
is seems to free itself.  I noticed that sometimes ...
Peugeot 106 Brake Drums - tools required to remove?18 Jan 2006 15:22 GMT1
Can anyone tell me the size of the nut holding the rear drum onto the axle
on a 1998 Peugeot 106 1.1?  Have to go and look at one with handbrake
problems tomorrow away from my garage, and want to ensure I have the right
tools with me!
Jittery Volvo18 Jan 2006 12:39 GMT15
The S40 (bog standard 1.8) has always been mildly fidgety on the
much-dug-up, pothole-ridden dirt tracks the council have the audacity to
call main roads round here, but lately it feels worse, giving a fair bit of
feedback through the steering wheel especially when braking on an ...

I have a '99 Rover 200 and would like a legit RAVE CD - any idea where

Mondeo Odd Roadwheel Noise at Rear18 Jan 2006 01:35 GMT3
Morning All
OK, my much loved Mondeo 2.0 Ghia X (manual, petrol) has now racked up
140,000 miles, over the six years I've had it. Think I'd better look at
changing it soon, as I feel there's almost nothing left on the clutch, but
Advice needed on which alarm to get for my new motor17 Jan 2006 22:59 GMT9
Having just recently replaced my ageing BMW E34 with a '99 E36 323i Touring,
I was amazed to find it wasn't fitted with any alarm or immobiliser as
standard.
Any advice as to a decent quality unit/system for DIY fitting? I want to do

What are the best make HT leads? I want to renew the ones on my Rover
214SEi.
Halford stock their own make and Bosch. I don't mind paying more than normal
if I know they're good ones. "You get what you pay for" as they say.........
Anyone know a source of a decent test lamp?17 Jan 2006 21:49 GMT10
I'm after a test lamp to figure out what is killing the battery on the other
half's motor, but no-one seems to do them! I haven't got
time/patience/inclination to knock up my own, so anyone got any pointers to
a decent supplier?

Mazda MX5 Battery17 Jan 2006 19:16 GMT6
I've been regularly using a jumper to restart an MX5 for a neighbour (3
years old - the battery not the neighbour).  She only uses the car
infrequently - perhaps 3 times per month hence the problem.  It lives in the
garage so starts pretty easily.

Saturday I saw an orange T-reg Maxi on the M25 near Clackett Lane. I
