K-series engine08 Feb 2006 18:16 GMT26
I'd like to get a second hand Lotus Elise but I've been warned about
the K-series engine over heating. The newer Elise engines are made by
Toyota and are very good apparently but they're out of my price range.
Whats the K-series like?

A while ago, I had to remove the charge air pipe from the turbo, as part of
a bush replacement job. I noticed that the inner surface of the pipe had an

I have a 1997 P Reg 306 2.0 8V XSi. Runs like a dream, as fast as sh1t off a

I have now replaced with new parts: the stepper motor, engine temp sensor,

Can anyone recommend a good garage?08 Feb 2006 08:14 GMT12
Having recently been done over by a main dealer garage I looked on the
Internet to find a reliable garage.
As I couldn't find a ready source of available garage information I
bought a domain name and have decided to set up a site myself.

I have a 1.8 1998 Mondeo petrol - what sort of mileage should I expect on a
full tank, consisting mainly of local and main road driving, and about 15%
of which is high-speed motorway mileage?
I'm currently getting around 380 miles - is this good?
Vauxhall Corsa 1.207 Feb 2006 11:38 GMT3
Just a simple question really - anyone know where the petrol filter is
on my Corsa 1.2 as a friend of mine suggests cleaning/replacing it to
solve what appears to be some kind of fuel starvation problem - thanks
