Does the typical tyre fitter care about where he shoves the trolley jack - are they trained to locate it properly? I am considering crawling under my car to see if the monkey who fitted my tyre avoided essentials such as exhaust, brake pipes, fuel pipes, etc.

Had wishbones replaced late last year, and noticed today heavy wear on inside of offside front tyre requiring new tyres. However, before I get new tyres (or at same time), I want to get the tracking adjusted.

Got really crusted on black break pad crud on my Sedona alloys. I never tried and of this Auto-Glym type stuff, thought it might be expensive snake-oil. Tried a bit of white spirit at weekend ( ...ran out of Jack Daniels !!
