My exhaust has just snapped in two at the point where the back and middle sections join. It rusted cleanly away right where the flange is welded on. The matching flange seems to be a bit rusty too but the rest of the exhaust seems in good condition and the clean break lets me see

Hi, i have a corsa p reg 1996 diesel and am having a real problem with my gears, when i put it in reverse it grinds like mad (everytime) its a real struggle to get it into 1st and 2nd gear, especially 2nd where i have to use both hands at times.

My MOT advisory note said that there was a small leak in the exhaust flexipipe of my Ibiza 1.4. Called in at Endyke tyres and saw where it was leaking from, small hole but not too bad in the middle of the flexipipe. Quoted about £250. Will get

Just wondering whether a garage will replace a spare tyre while the handbrake cable has snapped???? Is it possible to do, i dont want to take it in to be turned away. The tyre is nearly flat so need to get that done before it is totally flat.

On my old late 80s car the battery light on the dashboard glows occasionally. The brightness of the glow isn't always the same each time. I am not getting any other symptoms. Its also been doing this for months now.
