When pads wear out completely they grind on the discs, but when discs wear out (or should I say get thinner) what happens ?

Posted a while ago about my failed V70 O2 sensor (front one I think!!) I've checked the colour of the wires and the main one that sticks out is a blue one, the others are dark colours. I cant get hold of one from anywhere apart from Volvo - its a 2000 W reg classic shape

I have an astra and the there are three sockets for the radio, May radio only has two. I presume that the third socket is for central panel display. Is there an adaptor I can get or do i need a new radio

My Girlfreind has a K reg Ford Escort 1.3L, which has recently developed an annoying fault with the factory alarm. The alarm will go off at random times of the day and night for no reason at all. It goes off without anyone driving or walking past it.
