My brother came to visit and as he was leaving I noticed a wet patch on
the inside of the rear tyre. A closer inspection showed it was brake
fluid seeping from the rear LH caliper.  It seems to be coming from the

My diesel Citroen Synergie (51 reg) has developed a nasty (expensive)
sounding rattle from the top end (cambelt end of the engine) that appears at
about 3000 rpm.  It's quite harsh and clattery.

While attempting to get the pug (106, 1.1) out of the snow this morning
I noticed that some of the snow left behind was yellow.  Thought it
might have been a cat but the more I moved the more yellow there was.
Is there a fluid that colour in there somewhere??  Haven't tasted it!

Yesterday coming home from work in -10 C, a 26 km drive,
I was getting just cold air threw the heater. I was watching the temp
guage all the way home and as I got near my home about 20 minutes in,
the temp guage on my 88 toyota pickup was at the red line.

My G reg BX 19RD has given little trouble since I acquired it 10 years

The idle speed on the above car seems to be a tad low. It was fine when I
bought it about two years ago now but over time the idle seems to have
gradually dropped. Once warmed up it tends to idle around 750RPM which isn't

had a customer come in today in a panic, they had mistaken their brake fluid
reservoir for the screen washer bottle and promptly filled it with neat
screen wash !!!!

sale an emergency battery  jump starter that plugs into the cigarette
lighter for £29. Apparently it charges up and will then as they say, 'will

Does an electric fuel pump run continuously and bleed fuel back to the tank

A friend has a 1.2 P reg  Vauxhall Corsa with single point injection.
Every few days it refuses to start because of apparent moisture build
up around the injector. If he removes the injector plug and wipes
everything dry around the plug and its prongs it starts OK until
