First of all, great group, as I just bought my first car, a renault
clio RL, I've got lot of usefull info from your discussions, but I need
a bit more.

I am having some problems with the ABS system on my 1999 (V) Ford
Mondeo 1.8 Turbo Diesel (no traction control).  The amber ABS and red
Brake warning lights are often on singly or together intermittently.
(The system is a BOSCH 5.3.)

thinking of getting a diesel picasso, are they a good buy & reliable ?

I have a vectra and have hadh just about every problem i can think of
with it, it kept cutting out at junctions so through process of
elimination it has had a new mass air flow sensor, manifold gasket and
idle speed valve, this has not gone away but has improved greatly, but

is there an easy method to replacing alternator belt on a vectra, its a
right bitch, i hadto replace power steering pump the last time i put it
back on.

replacing discs and pads on focus tdi - is it a DIY able job? I want
to change the fromts, haynes on the way courtesy of ebay !!

Hi, small problem with a Megane Coupe (R plate) in that I can't get the
front wipers to work properly.  When I switch them on, I can hear the relay
clicking but nothing happens.  If I then turn on the heater blower, the
wipers work (but slowly).
