Tyre slowly loses pressure08 Apr 2006 02:23 GMT11
Astra (not that that matters?) tyre.
It's fairly new and lots of tread but it slowly loses pressure over a

Advice on what to buy07 Apr 2006 21:19 GMT4
Can you give me some advice please. For years the wife and I have bought
second hand saabs from the same guy, mostly because he has a source of cheap
parts and is very reasonable with his labour charges, because of dwindling
finances the saab we bought from him 8 months ago has ...
Fiat Coupe Turbo 20V suspension problem07 Apr 2006 17:32 GMT11
Mine has a sharp clacking noise, rather tinny, coming from somewhere around
the offside rear wheel region. It happens when I go over a speed bump, and

Scrapping a car.07 Apr 2006 16:39 GMT21
Should I decide to scrap a car (it's elderly, and may fail
the MOT test), who would take it? Can I just drive it to

is there anyone who'd take something that is probably scrap.

Thought either too much gas or not enough water. More likely not enough
Fiat Marea / Bravo / Brava / Coupe anti-roll bar rattle07 Apr 2006 14:06 GMT8
OK, I knew it would happen sooner or later, but the anti-roll bar on my
Marea is smacking the front floorpan when I go over bumps.
What I need to know, is which set of linkages should be replaced to fix
this.

1994 Astra 1.6 8V fails to start07 Apr 2006 11:36 GMT7
This car has run reliably for 140,000 miles now all of a sudden is fails to
start.
The engine cranks but won't fire up and run, the spark's are OK.
The only way to get it going is to remove the plugs - that are wetted with
Elbow Grease versus Buffer for car waxing/polishing07 Apr 2006 10:12 GMT1
I was wondering what others thought about applying and buffing car wax
using a cloth & some elbow grease versus doing the same with a random
orbital buffer.
My concern is based on swirl marks. I am somewhat under the impression
