| Tow bar for 1999 Fiesta 1.25 | 06 Apr 2006 21:28 GMT | 1 |
I'm confused. I used to have a tow bar on a Fiesta Classic 1990 no problems. However I'm confused about the 1.25LX 1999 Towsure states Ford do not recommend towing with 1.3 or 1.25 models

Fiat Brava 75 1.9TD When I switch the ignition on the glow plug warning light on the dash doesn't come on. The plugs don't heat up and the car won't start. If I squirt some quick-start down the hose after the air filter it starts and

| "leaking" alloy wheels? | 06 Apr 2006 16:38 GMT | 20 |
Do alloy wheels "leak" air? I've never had the "luxury" (?!) of having alloy wheels on a car before and have found that I have to keep topping up the air in all 4 tyres every few days.

Anyone know a decent alloy refurb place around Sheff? Preferably able to do diamond cut on the rims and powder coating so that they last well, and cheap. The wheels are 15" BBS cross spoke things.

| odd stall | 05 Apr 2006 18:42 GMT | 3 |
1999 Pug 106 1.1 petrol. Has happened twice now that, pulling away after..the only thing I can think is 'slowing down' (once after bearing right at a roundabout and once turning right, without stopping, both in 2nd at about 15-20), there's a total loss of power no matter what I do

| Crappy Cavs | 05 Apr 2006 15:28 GMT | 3 |
Can someone, anyone, tell me why Vauxhall decided to put the fanbelt behind a bloody engine mount on the mk3 Cav? And then why a succession of mechanics failed to notice the old belt was as close to rubber as Pluto is to a tropical paradise. Including the mechanic

| Primera again | 05 Apr 2006 11:09 GMT | 11 |

| Vauxhall Zafira gearbox problems | 05 Apr 2006 09:32 GMT | 6 |
2000 2.0 Dti Zafira. First gear only difficult to engage at best, impossible at worst. Linkage cables replaced and selector on outside of gearbox lubed at dealer suggestion, to no avail. Could it be lack of gear oil or perhaps internal first gear selector? thanks

| Looking for a Fulmen FX22 battery | 05 Apr 2006 00:21 GMT | 12 |
I think I need to replace the battery on my oh-so-chic beige Rialto. It took a hell of a lot of finding last time, because the battery which is normally listed for the Robin and Rialto doesn't fit mine: the battery tray is deep and moulded in fibreglass, so no oversize

| Vauxhall Astra LS 1.4 16V Starts to judder around 2500 rpm | 04 Apr 2006 23:04 GMT | 8 |
I recently bought a V reg (1999) Astra, its great, drives well. There is however a small problem, every now and again when cruising at a set speed (usually around 30-40) the car starts to judder and bounce, if you put the acceleration down abit further the juddering stops and

| Scenic loss of engine speed after rain... | 04 Apr 2006 23:03 GMT | 3 |
I own a Renault scenic we experienced an inability to go at more than about 5mph. The engine switches on and runs but when the accelerator is depressed the the revs rise and then fall back at about 1200 rpm. The car is a 1.9DTI when going uphill the problem can clear and the car
