Reversing Light Switch Location - Xantia 1.9 TD02 Apr 2006 19:31 GMT3
Can someone tell me the location of the Xantia 1.9TD (it's N -reg) reversing
light switch as it's MOT time soon and the reversing lights don't always
come on. I suspect the switch is at fault (unless any of you know
otherwise).

Can I simply put a set of 15" or 16" wheels on and carry on as normal,
Citroen Xantia Suspension....02 Apr 2006 02:08 GMT22
Just got hold of a nice 2.1TD Xantia and was wondering if anyone knew what
would cause the fron suspension to not rise correctly(ie not as high as it
should be) and cause the STOP light to come on and go off randomly?? I think
the LHM fluid may be low but the level indicator is ...

Anyone tried these (Barum Bravuris)? Just had a pair put on the back for
£104 total from National Tyres. Not tried these before and this is my first
set of 'V' tread tyres. They're on the rear of a 2 ltr Avensis that
regularly does a 150 mile motorway trip at speeds of 90 - ...

Mexican Beetles01 Apr 2006 22:54 GMT4
Anyone got any personal experience with late 1990's Mexican
Bugs, the 1600cc.  Are they kosher as far as getting registered
here, are parts available, and does anyone have any info
on insurance companies that might cover them.
Ford Scorpio engines.01 Apr 2006 22:02 GMT4
2.9 litre engined Ford Scorpios come in 12v and 24v varieties, the 24v
version being described as a Cosworth.
Is the engine made by Cosworth or does it just have multi-valve Cosworth
cylinder heads on a standard Cologne engine?
Leaking diesel pipe01 Apr 2006 20:44 GMT9
A leak has started under my 205D. I had a brief crawl under in the pouring
rain, and it looks like it is coming from one of the fuel pipes which are
clipped under the car body, just at the joint between the metal pipe and a
rubber pipe which comes down from the engine. If it ...
Ford Diesel01 Apr 2006 20:18 GMT4
Having thrown even more money at Mondeo TDCi 115 having diesel pump and
injectors replaced I now find that a few times when accelerating hard the
engine begins to misfire and the glow plug light flashes. Turning ignition
off and restarting engine cures the problem. Any ideas before ...

Newbie tool set advice01 Apr 2006 17:55 GMT23
Currently, my car maintenance tasks are restricted to changing the air
filter, checking the oil and blowing up the tyres.
But reading through the Haynes manual, I see that most tasks are rated
at 2 or 3 "spanners".
