can anyone help? i've changed my starter motor and after a couple of weeks it became sluggish in starting and now it fails to turn the engine and i get constant clicking from the glow plug relay when ignition is turned on!

Evening All Further to my post a few days ago about my attempts at changing Mark II Mondeo shock absorbers, I am now truly in a world of pain. This weekend I changed the Driver's side shock absorber and coil spring.

Can anyone help. Locked the doors the other day now they won't open, key doesn't turn in lock. Iv'e climbed in through the hatch back started the car etc but sill can't unlock the doors. Any ideas welcome.

I will be taking my 306 diesel for it's MOT tomorrow, Is all diesel fuel sold these days low sulphur 'city diesel' ? I 'm wandering if the smoke test is not such an issue these days ? Simon

I have a Ford Fiesta made in 2000. After about half an hour journey, the engine light kept flicking on and off, and the car was continually juddering. I only managed to get it into second gear.

Having replaced the idle control vlave to cure stalling I now get (4 months on) an intermittant variation in idle speed.Sometimes nearly stalls but recovers just in time. Can be fine for 2/3 hundred miles and then it will start.What other component could cause this.Lamda sensor?.. ...

Please someone help I am trying to replace the alternator belt on my peugeot 406 (1998) 2l turbo petrol with air-con and the replacement belt is loose. Is there a belt tensioner and if so where abouts is it? The alternator appears to be fixed as does the power steering pump.

Am i correct in thinking that the Lambda sensor goes into the Catalytic converter. One more thing is the Lamda sensor sometimes called the Oxygen/O2 sensor? Thanks in adance

Got a Mk2 89 fiesta CVT auto here thats having a few issues... When it's cold and on choke with the brakes on it idles fine when in park, neutral or reverse but if you put it in drive it stalls the engine, causes a heck of an issue at traffic lights :(
