I am having a couple of problems with my KA.  The rear window heater
and rear wiper have stopped working.  Does anybody know what may have
caused this and do you know if it is going to be very expense to get
fixed?

A friend has a Ford Ka she uses very infrequently.
She has the following symptoms from her power steering. [1]
a) Loses a bit of fluid.

a P reg BMW  318i stopped and asked me if I can change his cam belt for
him. he then went on to say, "well I think it's a cam belt, but might

I have just got new tax disc.Documents were handed in to Post Office and in
less than 24hours I had disc on car.Daughter ordered hers on line recently
and  it was 5 days before she got disc.My renewal form for some reason did
not have the info for applying on line but now Im glad ...

My daughter has a 2000 W reg Punto which has recently developed an annoying

I have an old 1992 Clio automatic. Gearbox has completely given up and
i have been offered an old clio for parts with a good gear box. Is it
worth me trying to fit the gearbox myself?  I dont know much about
fitting parts! I bought the car two weeks ago and cannot really afford

I have just noticed that my reverse lights & rear fog light have
stopped working on my 2002 VW Polo (New Model).  I have checked the
bulbs - all are working fine.  I have searched the fusebox - no fuses
gone.  Anyone have any ideas what is wrong ??

As the subject suggests, I've managed to lunch the thread in the caliper
what the bleed screw, screws into.
After doing it bit of googling, I'm thinking of attempting to tap out the
hole and use a larger screw, if I can actually find anywhere either locally

What is the requirement for airbags in the MOT? Should they be working?

I've got a facelift model Citreon Xsara, which had an aftermarket (Witter)
towbar fitted until recently.
I've been obliged to remove the towbar (long story), plus associated wiring
from around the RH rear light cluster.

Up until now I thought the RAC didn't own any low loader recovery
transporters.They just contracted them out when needed. But the other
day I saw one in full RAC livery.
These must be just a new addition to the fleet? Anybody else seen

Picked up a 1996 Honda Civic VTi a couple of days ago. 3 door hatchback.
Travelled just over 90k miles. I know the previous owner (he's a close

Saxo 1.1 non power steering solid discs. Seems to replace the pads I just
drift out the retaining pins ? Being used to LR brakes ( little bigger )
with a split pin to hold retainers am I missing something with the Saxo
ones.

I've just bought one of those Halfrauds kits to recharge the A/C on my
Omega, then out of the goodness of my heart offered to top the wife's
Ka3 up (it's considerably less effective [cool] than it has been in the
past).
