After nearly 8 years I think the batteries may have finally gone in my ignition key so I'm locking using the key in the lock. The car still starts OK - should it do this with the key batteries exhausted or will it suddenly not start?

Any pics on the web showing tyre tread wear indicators for worn tyres? Looking at my tyres, I presume the tyre tread markings are at 90 degrees to the main grooves. But I'd like to find some example pics to compare.

How come Rover BRM's don't sell on eBay (and probably elsewhere)? I'd have thought with less than 800 built they would be snapped up. I was surprised at the number for sale on eBay! Surely a future classic if there ever was one.

I have a Seat Ibiza TDI 130 Sport from '03 which has started to behave a bit strangely. It has a dashboard mounted voltmeter standard from the factory, and from the day it was new it always reported 14v with the engine running, no problems
