When I got back from my holiday, the car battery was flat (not that I didn't
say to disconnect the battery). It was flattened by the immobiliser and

I have a  N reg 1.7 diesel turbo Vectra that has a funny clutch

The cambelt has snapped at 70mph on my friend's diesel Astra. Obviously my
first thought is the engine is wrecked, but I'm not sure if this applies to
all engines, especially diesels. The engine spins freely and my friend says

Just been given a saxo 1999 diesel and drives well - high mileage 120k
The gearbox is like stirring rice pud - plenty of play and you have to
push the gear stick hard into gear.

My name is Emyr from Cardiff. I own a 51 plate Volvo v40 diesel. Its a
great car - but I have one problem. The lights on the car are very
poor. On main beam - the lighting patern is very short - even whith
stronger bulbs fitted - I still canot see well enough for safe driving
