I usually avoid anything French, but an old friend has asked me to look at her 306 petrol. it idles ok from cold but no idle when warm. When it comes in I will check for obvious things like vacuum leaks, loose connectors etc. but what next? coolant temp sender? crank sensor?

My bora has decided to start revving itself for no reason. When I'm in neutral it just rev's. Occurs anytime. Bit of a strange problem. Happened a few times since the first about a month ago. Have it booked into a garage just need to drop it off Monday.

Just thought I'd share my experience of this with the great wide world... this may be relevant to other Citroen models or indeed Pergeot etc, as these small French cars from this period all fairly similar and often take the same speedo cable parts.

I have a 1.9 TDI Renault Laguna, the problem I have is that it has become slow at pulling away until the Turbo kicks in at about 2000 revs This problem is worse when cold, it smokes as the revs get higher, the smoke is a grey/blue colour. The car has just been given a full service.

Cheapest place for a Fiat Punto blue key blank ? Dealer wants 40 odd £ which then needs to be cut. I have 1 blue key and the red master so the programming of the second blue shouldn't be a problem.

I swear my Pug is trying to teach me all of the skills of mechanical work easy cheap stages. Today, the clutch cable snapped. It was kind and snapped outside the Pug dealer in Lutterworth. The Pug dealer wasn't so kind and didn't have one
