hi, i've installed front fog lights to my ford mondeo diesel 96, the
fog lights came off a ford mondeo 16v 93, i have also swapped the
rotary light switch from the 16v to the diesel so that the front fog
lights would work, but no sounded too simple, when the light swich is
Corsa 1.0 getting knocked out of gear03 Jul 2006 09:07 GMT4
If I treat the local speed bumps with contempt and go over them at
about 20, the Corsa often jumps out of gear.
Also I have noticed that when driving on a slightly bumpy road the gear
lever moves back and forth a lot.
Corsa GSi not happy02 Jul 2006 18:01 GMT4
OK, so on to the next problematic car. Saab man's tyke has a Corsa GSi.
The problem is that it's very temperamental in whether or not it wants to
idle. It will do either one of the following:
1. Idle fine
Paging Andy Hewitt02 Jul 2006 15:04 GMT8
I've stumbled across a cheap (and I mean _cheap_) Alfa 156.
It's a 1.8 TSpark povery spec (steel wheels... eurgh) on a '99T plate.
Only one problem. 150k miles.
I'm tempted, just because I reckon any 156 that's lasted that long must
1999 Honda Accord aircon02 Jul 2006 01:18 GMT2
I appear to have a problem with the electronics in my aircon/climate
system.
The car is a 1999 Accord SE Exec Auto with full auto climate control.
Everything works, but the compressor won't fire up.
Car body repair incompetence01 Jul 2006 22:08 GMT5
I purchased a new car last October and had a bump in February (my fault). I
have consequently had 4 repairs to my car from the same repair centre and it
is still not right. The repair centre is owned by my insurance company
(Royal Sun Alliance) and was highly recommended by them. I ...

Hi people , I have been lurking here for a bit and have read some of
the answers to some questions I was going to ask so I thought it is
about time I asked one myself.I am currently running a positive earth
vehicle which uses a dynamo. I would like to get more electrickery back
Blaupunkt Montreux RCR4401 Jul 2006 17:59 GMT1
Afternoon chaps...
I've recently got hold of one of these and been trolling around looking for
a user manual, although not found one.
I did find a post about menus on one of the VW forums...
Suggestions for attaching plastic bodykit01 Jul 2006 16:07 GMT25
The 75 has one very dodgy rear arch. It's so dodgy that the plastic arch
extender is no longer attached to anything. Mainly because there's no
metal for it to attach to.....
Now, I know I should be making plans to have this sorted - but this is
airbrush \ scratch repair01 Jul 2006 14:59 GMT7
I was wondering if you could buy like a airbrush kit for scratch fixing
something like what some people get tanned with ?
When I had chipsaway (mobile scratch\dent repairs fixers) come out to me
they touched up and scuff with a airbrush type gizmo but it was powered by a
crankshaft pulley01 Jul 2006 12:21 GMT17
vauxhall vectra 1.8 r reg.
Does the crankshaft pulley on this car have a damper that is integral
to the pullley?
Pullley on the car seems to be wobbling a little.
engine overheating mainly when running A/C, otherwise ok01 Jul 2006 11:23 GMT5
I have a 2000 Mazda 626 which recently began overheating when I run the
air condition. Without running the AC the car has been able to tolerate
2+ hours of stop and go traffic while maintaining the engine temp at
near mid gauge *around 3.5 the temp start goign up near top gauge, but
focus tdci01 Jul 2006 10:28 GMT3
I've got the chance of a deal on an 02 focus 1.8tdci ghia, with 40k on
it that's not a bad car is it  ? It comes with breakdown insurance for
1 year, full spec . Any thing to check for specifically ? ( Apart from
changing the cam belt that is !)
Car start problem/ ignition sequence query01 Jul 2006 07:46 GMT6
Recently I've had trouble starting my car.  Not every time, though, and
not predictably.  When it starts it starts fine, at other times it
cranks well but doesn't catch.
Eventually, after much cranking and re-charging of the battery it will
