OK, So I'm going to be commuting 100 miles a day soon so I'll bite the
bullet and get my Mondeo oil leak fixed properly.
While I'm getting it done (sump gasket leaking very slowly, but dripping
annoyingly onto the exhaust), does it make financial sense to get anything

my 1998 ghia x mondeo TD, when I hold the throttle open steady 1500
revs (not just 1500rpm any revs) the engine runs smooth then the revs
die then go back up and when driving along it feels like its holding
back then going then holding back etc..anyone please help???

Today, i noticed hissing under the bonnet after dropping the wife off,
flipped up the bonnet and noticed steam coming from a hose, i tightened
the hose and it stopped, however... Quite a bit of water was under the

Looking at a Previa with a d cat log book. What does this mean in real
terms?They said it was only a rear bumper repair which has been done..do you
at some time get a clean V5??
