Corsa Sump Removal03 Aug 2006 14:38 GMT14
I am in the process of removing the sump of my Corsa. However there is
one of the 10mm bolts that I can't get to. It is the one towards the
rear of the sump. I have used a 10 mm socket both 1/4 and 3/8 inch
drives. I just can't get either socket to sit on properly. I was

It's the passenger side headlight bulb  on an '02 tdci , it looks like
a right swine to replace. I've found some stuff on the 'net..

i was wondering where the diagnostic connector was on a 1998 Astra 1.6
8v car. Have recently has a few electronic faults with the car and
would like to invest in a fault code reader to diagnose the problems. I
have looked in the fusebox and around the steering but cant seem to

Is this an MOT failure ?
MOT is due soon and have a crack halfway round the wing lining ... probably
when the wife used it it happened.
Just wondering if this is an MOT failure ?

Been asked to take a quick look at an M plate Golf automatic today. "It's
tapping" was the description - I'll say it is!
Sounds like a tappet gone very wrong, and the engine had very little oil
(took about 2.5l, I don't know the capacity so can't say just how bad that

Would the MOT examiner be "interested" in the fact that you weren`t running
on standard diesel.Does adulteration of fuel ( Veg Oil added) come into the
test?What effect would that have on emmissions?

Yesterday, the airbaglight on the dash came on. It now stays on as I drive.
Tommorow I go to France and will drive 950 km, can this be a problem?
All the Opeldealers are closed overhere, vacation.
Anybody got an idea why the light suddenly came on? It happend after a run

recently purchased 1999 xantia 1.8 sx, I have changed the 4 corner
spheres due to suspension being bouncy front and back, I have also
changed the clutch due to it slipping, but I have now got a problem

Just had my car in for an MOT (Alfa 146 2.0 TS) and it failed on the Exhaust
emissions test with the following
Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive
(Co 4.67 fast idle)

Last year my air con wasn't working very well so I called out a mobile
regasser. After that it barely worked at all and the regassers went out
of business or something before I could get them to have another go, and
I've just never got round to getting it fixed.

I have just acquired a 1997 Fiat Punto 75 SX. In my view, the clutch
pedal is very heavy. Is this normal for this car or is it likely to be
down to a worn/unlubricated clutch cable?

Astra 1.7 dti possible ecu fault01 Aug 2006 20:45 GMT1
This morning I went to open my Astra and found that the remote lock was not
working opened the car with the key and found the battery flat. I connected
a set of jump leads to the car and started it after disconnecting the leads
the car ran for about 5 to 10 seconds then shut down ...
