Changing front brake pads for 1.8I Zetec20 Aug 2006 17:58 GMT3
Hi. Could some body tell me how to go about changing the front brake
pads for a 1.8I zetec ford mondeo. I have changed pads in other cars
but never attempted it in a mondeo before. If the person can just give
me a basic run through, that would be very helpful. Cheers

I have a 2000 reg Berlingo Multispace with a dodgy instrument panel. On

They keep turning on and off for a few minutes whilst driving and then
the whole panel finally decides to stay on. It will do this for two or

Transit Diesel - 100K Cambelt?19 Aug 2006 17:40 GMT4
Has anyone heard of a 100,000 mile cambelt for a Transit Diesel 2.5 (T/99)?
I bought the van a year ago (ex-BT) - claims this 100K belt was
installed - just wanted confirmation a belt with that kind of lifespan
existed.
Flat battery19 Aug 2006 13:59 GMT9
Last week we found our car battery had gone flat apparently overnight.
We towed the car to get it started (it's diesel so difficult to bump
start by pushing). After a bit of a run it seemed to be charged up OK
and was fine for about a week, then yesterday it did it again. That time

Micra Door Handle19 Aug 2006 12:55 GMT3
My daughters S plate micra has a broken exterior door handle - it looks like
the plastic has degraded.
Any idea how much these are to replace and how easy is the job.
If not too expensive/complicated, i suppose replacing both (2 door) would be

I have a S plate BMW 530TD.  140k on clock and over time (good few

like a rocket but appears to drive like a Non turbo diesel and is
somewhat sluggish now (MPG no different).

Mondeo vibration under engine load19 Aug 2006 07:56 GMT5
Mondeo Mk3, April 2003, 2.0 petrol, Ghia X, Manual, 110k miles.
Car shakes (sometimes quite baddly) when engine is under any load. Perfectly
smooth when coasting out of gear or when cruising at a steady speed.  It
shakes as soon as the slightest bit of throttle is applied and gets ...
Thoughts on Pug 306 2.0  HDI?19 Aug 2006 00:03 GMT9
I'm looking at buying one of these (about 6 years old or maybe a bit less)

I know about the cabin build quality problems and minor gremlins, but I'm
more concerned about good fuel economy and reliability ...
