A Sprinter Van, collected from the Merc main dealer after a major service, driven less than a mile to the base, refused to restart. After recovery back to the dealer, the verdict is "it's been filled with petrol, and will cost £1000 to repair."

What oil do I need for an S Reg TD 1.8 Mondeo? It's the Endura engine I believe I need synthetic oil but thought I'd check on here? Also do I need a specfic power steering fluid?

I need a replacement fan belt (smooth V type) for a cement mixer and it needs to be about 900mm diameter. I can't seem to locate a manufacturer/supplier via the usual searches, so can anyone recommend one?

Mate has a 1996 Mondeo with the 1.8 Zetec engine. It makes a loud moaning/howling noise when started from cold. The noise goes away after a couple of minutes as the engine warms up, but can return intermittently when driving. Sounds bearing-ish to me, but I'm no car

Hi all, more problems, oil light is coming on at random times and random revs, I have put a pressure gauge on it and when hot at idle it reads 25 psi and at 2000 rpm it reads 75 psi book says hot at 2000 rpm it must be at least 2 bar ( 30 psi ) so I think its not actually an oil ...

Heater Blower not working on my J plate Carlton Diplomat. Strange thing is, fusebox and manual says Fuse 12 is the blower fuse (2nd row, 2nd fuse in) but there is no fuse in there and no wires in there to indicate that one should be ? Been working fine for the several years

Unusual problem on a neighbours VW Transporter FWD TDi van. On acceleration it pulls very gently to the right, and when you back the power off, it pulls slightly to the left. If power is constant, it drives perfectly striaght. Wheel alignment has been done and was fine. N/S front ...
