Replace brake bulb rear in MkV Golf28 Sep 2006 23:07 GMT30
Is it possible to do yourself or does a trained mechanic need to do
it?
Removing the side wall covering seems a bit of a challenge as it
tightly secured down one side.
My fan in the car (an audi a4- R reg with air con ) has stopped working28 Sep 2006 21:42 GMT4
Help!
My fan in the car (an audi a4- R reg with air con ) has stopped working
- but being unused to such technology I don't evenknow where the motor
for it is.  If I found it, would a good tap or some WD40 do the trick?
Clutch worn? How can I be sure...?28 Sep 2006 21:40 GMT9
I suspect the clutch on my 47k miler Skoda Felicia may be on its way
out. But before I shell out hundreds on a new clutch, can anyone advise
whether this does sound like a worn or contaminated clutch...?

Selling at auction28 Sep 2006 16:55 GMT6
My fiesta has oil in the coolant.  Quite a lot of it.  The oil cooler has
been replaced but it didn't make any difference.  Maybe head gasket or
hair line crack in the block somewhere.  The garage suggested selling it.
If I sell at auction am I required to state the fault?  ...
Anyone want this...?28 Sep 2006 16:51 GMT7
May be out of place here, or off topic, but since it would need some
"maintenance" to get it going...

for ages). I've been quoted more than I'm willing to pay to get it

Hi folks. My Zafira 2.2 (2003) runs perfectly when the fuel tank is full but every time the tank is half empty it begins to misfire during left turns. As the tank gets more empty the problem gets progressively worse. By the time the low fuel light comes on left turns cause a ...
Audi dual mass flywheels ?28 Sep 2006 11:08 GMT2
Why is an Audi A4 clutch change apparently so expensive, and why is the
flywheel (of all things) apparently now a consumable part?  Anyone got
any hands-on with these things?

Absorbed Glass Mat battery  - how to recharge when completely flat28 Sep 2006 08:01 GMT28
My neighbour has an MX5 (2003, 10,000 miles) and she doesn't use it very
often.  She killed the first battery so I got her to buy a new  Absorbed
Glass Mat battery back in January.  The one we fitted was a Westco model.

Intermittent brake noise - any suggestions27 Sep 2006 22:38 GMT4
In the last few days I've been hearing an intermittent "grinding" noise
coming from the front driver's side wheel of my one year old Golf Mk V.
I thought at first it might be a chipping, so I took it to ATS.  They
cleaned out the discs, but couldn't find anything, and it's still ...
Advice needed on tackling rust under sills27 Sep 2006 18:53 GMT10
I need to remove rust from under the sills, including rusted seams, and to re-
coat them in the best way to protect them against future chips and rust.  The
rust problem is not serious at this stage  -  it is only on the surface - but
a stitch in time saves nine!  I am not too ...

Proton Satria fuel gauge27 Sep 2006 08:33 GMT2
Hi, I've got a 2003 Proton Satria 1.3 with a badly erratic fuel gauge. Wife
