The rear bushes on the lower suspension arms of the wife's Ka are
starting to split. My question is is sorting this out do-able for
someone of my experience? :) I'm getting quite adept at servicing cars
now, ie. done quite a few oil changes, brake fluid changes, spark plugs

Checking TDC16 Sep 2006 12:25 GMT5
The Draper tool arrived and appears to be just the job - and my existing
dial gauge is a perfect fit. Not that I intended using it, but since it
does I probably will.
Mazda 323 blowers.15 Sep 2006 23:55 GMT8
Does anyone else have a mazda 323 where the blowers are a bid feeble.
It sounds like they're working on the passenger side, but there is
hardly any strength to the air coming out and it was only able to
demist half the screen. This is the 323F GLX version - 1996 without air

only seems to have "selection packs" which I dont want.

(2) What does the scrap dealer get when he sells the battery with loads

i have just been  out, as instructed by my wife, and filled up her 2001

was nearly empty and took around 45 litres (12ish gallons?) to fill. I

A/C grumbling noises15 Sep 2006 16:14 GMT2
The A/C on my wife's car works absolutely fine (in terms of chucking out
lots of very cold air) but when it's first truned on, there's a soft
gtating/grumbling noise from the system which settles down after a bit.
What are the likely causes?

I have a Astra 1400 M reg, with an oil leak ??

The only possibility is from the cylinder head gasket.
Is this likely, and why would the oil leak from there ??? or is there

I have a temperature and fuel gauge which tend to have 2 sets of positions.
I find it annoying and assume the voltage regulator/stabiliser is faulty.
To save taking the instrument cluster out to have a look, can anyone
indicate if the regulator is a replaceable item, how easy is it ...
