hi the left hand side main beam on my zx doesnt seem to be working, ive
checked the bulb and changed it over but it still does not work.  the
dipped lights work fine, just not the left hand side main beam.
does the main beam have its own fuse / relay??

Brakes on Fiesta starting to squeak a little when applied/released so I
guess I should renew the caliper bolt grease and add some to the pad
guide rails. I've got some white lithium grease and some copper grease,
which would be best and do I need something specific for the bolts?

I have a Xantia Activa which has developed an extremely irritating
faint hi-pitched squeak.  I can only describe it as like having a mouse
underneath the car.  It comes from the suspension somewhere as it only
happens when the car goes over bumps.  There is no noise on the flat or

Why are Bendix self adjusters - the ones with a screw-jack, toothed
wheel and little metal spring such utter utter crap?
The teeth on the wheel wear out, the little leaf springs break, the
screw-jack jams.

've got a Hyundai Coupe which is a 2.0 fuel injection jobby. Problem is
that recently it just will not start for ages, it takes me at least a
