Everything points to this being the MAF, but I have changed that with a genuine from Volkswagen dealer, no better. Another feature is that it revs up when you start it as if I've blipped the throttle. Any ideas?

The battery light has suddenly started to glow even with the ignition off and key removed. Doesnt glow with the engine running. Whats going on? Its an old nissan bluebird. Alternator seems to be chaging ok when the engine is running.

I've got an 7 yr old torque wrench. (Kasama kamasa - something like that) Am I right in assuming it *will* need regular recalibrating - or do they stay in spec for ages?

I have 1 1994 1170 engine Clio its the energy version, (e7) i think. It has developed a water leak roughly a pint per 20 miles. The oil looks black, the water doesnt seem creamy in the expansion tank. Any idea where to start looking cant seem to find any drips yet.
