My Rover K series engine (42k miles) has started making a jingly noise at

Are there any pointers you can offer for me to look into? Here's some more
clues...

Hi guys. I have a mk2 Mondy that I haven't given a run out on for about
6 weeks due to it being on the market. I was taking it out today to get
a tyre and when I steered a full lock either way a lound mechanical
clunkind  sound emanates from near the off side wheel. The car also
astra overrevving/fault code 2408 Nov 2006 19:14 GMT4
My daughter has a J reg astra 1.6 ecotec, and it's been playing up of late.
It's very fond of doing 3000rpm when it should be idling, even revving up
when changing gear. I haven't got a scanner, so she's had a friend of a

Battery Tester08 Nov 2006 16:05 GMT12
I'm after a battery charger and have found a good deal from Lidl for
£12.99. It says it's got 3 charging modes: 14.4V/0.8A, 14.4V/3.6A and
14.7V/3.6A. Does the first mode indicate an attempt at desulphation? I
was under the impression a much higher voltage would be needed for ...

I noticed that the light on the passenger side is much dimmer than

Paint Chips08 Nov 2006 12:41 GMT2
So, McCain's oven chips are pretty good.

Burning silly amounts of oil08 Nov 2006 10:07 GMT22
My 1.25l 16V Zetec Fiesta (1998) is now burning about 2 litres of oil every
1000 miles.  I'm using 5w30 semi-synthetic but it's getting rather expensive
to put in this much all the time!
The manual says I could use 10w40 so I am considering using "High Mileage"
Focus '04 petrol 1.8 intermittent ignition light08 Nov 2006 09:01 GMT4
As above says it all really. It seems to when going round a bend and on
