They dont seem to be getting any more economical, just more powerful.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel is getting a bit silly.

I need to change at least one outer CV joint rubber gaiter on my 106. The
easiest way to do it would be to use one of those split gaiters that you
place around the joint in place of the old one without disassembling
anything (other than the old gaiter) and then close up the split ...

The valve clearence on my 1990 1600 jubilee peugeot309 needs adjusting.
I gather it gets done by fitting in the right size of shims
Can someone help me as to  how to remove shims and replace new ones.
i've found some reference on the internet but none seems to fit this

What should've been a couple of hours job tops to change the shocks on the
GFs Chinqicento, I'm sorry to say has lead to it being dismantled on my
drive the for the last couple of weeks because I can't get my hands on a
couple of pieces of rubber.

Is this likely to be warped discs?
If so, can I check to see if they are warped before buying new ones?

i have a 1988 ford escort but it's running on LRP and I need to change
it to ULP soon as jersey is stopping selling LRP very shortly. but I am
unsure whether I can transfer it directly to unleaded or have to use
