| Peugeot 406 HDi 90 | 22 Nov 2006 14:43 GMT | 6 |
I wonder if anyone could help me. I have had many older indirect Peugeot diesel engine cars, but this is my first encounter with the HDi version. On hard throttle the engine seems to make a pronounced loud ticking (almost like a tappet noise) sound until around 3100 rpm, and

Whilst accelerating in 5th gear from 50 to 70mph I hit a total flat spot and putting my foot down actually slowed the car down, now it drives like a tractor. The turbo is still whistling smoothly so I dont think its a mechanicaly blown turbo, although thats what it feels like.

I have a 320d 03-plated BMW. It seems to be accumulating damp in the boot and starting to smell. I reckon there is a tiny water leak somewhere. There is always significant condensation up in the two rear corners behind where the boot lid hinges bolt in. Also, if you were to place ...

| What's the law regarding side lights? | 21 Nov 2006 16:46 GMT | 29 |
I noticed that one of my front side light bulbs had blown so decided to buy a pack of 2 and change both sides. It's very rare I drive on just side lights alone but if the headlights are on then it's not possible to tell if a side bulb is not working. This got me thinking, would it ...
