Just had 4 new tyres fitted at  a decent local tyre place. They are
unidirectional ones. I read what the guy at
http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html says about the coloured band
running around the tyre being for runout and also for a quick visual check

My mums just bought a second hand car. The clutch is causing her problems in
that it has to be almost all the way out before it bites. Can this be
adjusted so that it bites nearer the floor?

its taken for granted that broken glass is bad for tyres, but har far
would you go to avoid it?

I'm trying to sort a misfire problem on a 2002 A-Class Mercedes
(Petrol).
As far as I can tell this car should be OBD-II compliant. I ordered an
ISO OBD-II toy from ebay, based on the ELM323 chip, but I cannot get it

The service lights have been disp[laying for a while on my mum's Beamer.
SHe doesn't think it needs a service and I'm not going to pay for it.

My brakes started to make the metal to metal noise. It now seems to
have developed a fluid leak.  Would the metal to metal of the front
brake pads caused the caliper to leak somehow? Not enough resistance
