Update: misfiring T5 - new DTCs29 Dec 2006 10:19 GMT34
Had no luck finding the air leak if that is indeed the cause of my problem.
I made a hose clamp and experimented with clamping off various air pipes.
Thought I'd found the cause but today the problem has returned. I tried
disconnecting the IAC valve to eliminate it from the ...

Just had a visit from my darling Mother in her Rover 100...
She's been having a few problems with it showing odd temperatures, running
the fan all the time etc. A man down the road who 'knows about cars' came
round and poked a stick through the pipes from the expansion tank and ...

Nissan Almera28 Dec 2006 07:46 GMT1
Hi the offside front suspension on my nissan almera is leaking fluid,
and there is a knocking noise when driving which I have been told by a
garage is the anti roll bar, is there a specific part of this it is
likely to be, or does the whole thing require replacing? I have been
Brake bleeding28 Dec 2006 00:55 GMT30
I'm trying to bleed the brakes on a MkI Punto.
My pressure bleeding kit is very, very slightly too big for the fluid
reservoir top - you think it's screwed on OK, then you apply (reduced) tyre
pressure to it and it pops off and fluid spurts everywhere :-(
Vibration after disc change27 Dec 2006 20:30 GMT4
I recently had the front discs and pads replaced on my RAV-4. Since
then I've been experiencing a strange vibration problem. It occurs at
very low speed i.e 10mph  (where it appears as a wobble) all the way
up to 85+. At first I thought it was a wheel balancing problem, but it
Insurance write-off and buyback advice...27 Dec 2006 20:14 GMT20
My ex had the back of her car smashed by a mad fogey last week - the sort of
disoriented elderly driver that crashes slowly into the back of you then
looks puzzled and drives into you again to see if the same thing happens...
Anyway, the back lights and rear corner are smashed and ...
Micra clutch replace27 Dec 2006 09:44 GMT9
The clutch on my ancient ('92) Micra has finally decided to slip like
mad. Given the the car is in v. good condition for it's age (only done
50k miles). I'm considering a DIY job to replace the clutch - as the
garages want about £300 to do it.  (And that's about half the cost of
Rover 200. Screen Wash.27 Dec 2006 01:50 GMT10
Despite not running out of screen wash, the screen wash function to the
front screen has failed. (The rear one has not worked for a long time
but I am not concerned about this one)
The wipers work. I plan to take the car to the garage early New Year,
