Alternator / battery / bulbs issues09 Jan 2007 19:02 GMT10
Haven't posted here for a while, but recently had a battery situation
and just wanted to check my diagnosis (1997 Honda Accord).
Had about six bulbs go in the space of about two weeks, and hadn't
changed any for a while before that so didn't think too much of it.
BMW Mini Cambelt09 Jan 2007 18:25 GMT8
What's the recommended mileage for changing a cambelt on a BMW Mini?
I reckon anything over 50K miles but opinions welcome.
Having looked around car showrooms at the weekend I saw a lot of them
for sale with 50K or 60K miles. Perhaps the cost of changing the belt is

etc, and I got it up on ramps and found new brake pipes, good CV boots,
etc. Aligned, pair of new tyres, and oil change, and it drives nicely too.
I'm left with a dented door, though. I found a pair of white ...

What Car?08 Jan 2007 19:44 GMT23
Friend of mine has a 1998 1.6 Ford Focus Zetec, done about 64k miles. The
car is basically fine and in tidy condition (apart from possible spring
problem - see other thread), FSH and a very known quantity and she's happy
with it.
