Haven't posted here for a while, but recently had a battery situation and just wanted to check my diagnosis (1997 Honda Accord). Had about six bulbs go in the space of about two weeks, and hadn't changed any for a while before that so didn't think too much of it.

I had to call out AA just before Xmas. T reg Clio 1.6 RXE linkage Socket to auto gearbox came adrift from Ball stud on gearbox arm. and trouble was, although it was in Park, the faulty, detached linkage told interlock arbitrarily that selection was in Reverse

can clear with aircon, also have air coming in from outside to stop it misting up...... occasionally after a cold night I find, as do my colleagues returning to their cars after nightshift, that the windscreens are misted. Any tips or good products to stop this?

i have problems when i start driving after 5 mins it dies out but not completely.i have had it at two garages both said it was electrics so i renwed them and it is still happening.someone suggested the fuel filter then said i don't no if that make has one any suggestions welcome.

Are these arnold clark type 41pt services worthwhile or should i go to an indie garage and get a full service? been 10k since last service car has done 35k (Almera) Is it mainly just making sure the oil is changed?

Friend of mine has a 1998 1.6 Ford Focus Zetec, done about 64k miles. The car is basically fine and in tidy condition (apart from possible spring problem - see other thread), FSH and a very known quantity and she's happy with it.
