I posted a message yesterday as follows:- A friend of mine has a Saxo VTS. It has an on going problem. Whilst driving at low speed, say 40mph, the engine will cut out and the car stops. The engine will not start for a couple of hours. Any ideas

Trying to get a straight answer to this one has proved difficult. How often does the timing belt on a 2.0 HDi (PSA) engine need to be changed? Any ideas on cost - non peugeot garage?
