Escort Problem (Not mine, phew)20 Jan 2007 00:15 GMT5
My neighbour's W-reg escort has a minor issue I've been informed...
Sometimes, if left for a couple of days and not used, when you attempt to
start it, and turn the key, the revs don't kick in, so it's not 'firing'. A
touch on the accelerator seems to get it going all the time ...

Roof Repair19 Jan 2007 17:48 GMT14
A ridge tile blew off my roof this afternoon and landed on the roof of my
2005 Rover 45 parked on the drive below.
Luckily no damage to persons or any other panel on the car - just the roof.
My insurance excess is £250 but I suspect the repair cost would be much more
Renault Clio 1.5 dci 52 plate. Fault with electrics - can anyone help??!!!19 Jan 2007 16:27 GMT2
I've had my Clio for 16 months with no problems at all up to now and
completely love it.  Just before Christmas my cd player stopped
working.  It didn't come on at all for a couple of days then it came
back to life for a few minutes then the word 'SPEECH' flashed up (on
BMW X5 and tree19 Jan 2007 16:08 GMT7
outside work tonight - a nice black X5 with a silver birch tree at 45
degrees resting on it, just by the drivers door handle. Each time the wind
blew the suspension danced and the alarm went off again. Firemen came BUT I
didn't have a camera handy . . what a shame
Slightly OT. Insurance success.19 Jan 2007 12:57 GMT3
A day after I repaired the leaking diesel seal in my wife's 106 someone
ran into the back of it whilst she was waiting at a roundabout. The cost
of straightening it out would have been about £560 ish and as the car is
somewhat (oh, ok then very) scruffy and is 13 years old we ...

Hi I think that I am going to have to replace the matrix on my Corsa B

It is giving the usual symptoms, bit of dampness on the floor around the air
