is isn't going to stop. When the pedal goes hard the abs activates
Stiff power steering after pump was replaced17 Jan 2007 23:35 GMT3
I have a 1999 polo 1.6 gl and when I bought it a month ago the power
steering was great, very easy to turn. After a while it started to make
grinding noises and then it got more stiff. I filled up the fluid which
was low and got my leaking pump replaced.

1999 Ford Fiesta Reverse light switch problem?17 Jan 2007 15:47 GMT4
My Fiesta's rear reverse light isn't working. I've changed the bulb and
looked at the fuses but there isn't a problem with them. It has been
suggested to me that the "reverse light" switch in the gearbox is
faulty - a common problem with fiestas?

Astra 1.6 LS Y Reg. ECU problem (It's been a bad month)16 Jan 2007 20:39 GMT14
I had the engine electronics warning light come on intermittently with
about 20% loss of power. No pattern to when it would come on, sometimes
every few seconds, sometimes a day or two. It reset when the engine was
restarted.
Fiesta 4500 radio16 Jan 2007 18:14 GMT8
Is there any way to turn off the speed related volume on the 4500 stereo?
It is really annoying, as it only has about 6 levels, so is very noticable.
In town traffic, the volume goes up and down as you pass the speed settings.
Another thing I noticed is that the 3 steroe slots are ...

BMW E39 tie rods16 Jan 2007 10:22 GMT5
Car has just passed an MOT with an advisory about play on the nearside tie
rod.
But the play, (on the inner ball joint) is more than I'm happy with.
Anyone know how much I can expect to pay for a new tie rod on it's own?
Grande Punto - Quick Question!!16 Jan 2007 06:56 GMT6
I have just purchased a new Grande Punto having sold the 2.0ltr diesel as I
just wasn't doing any mileage to justify it's ownership.
I have had the Punto 2 days now and in the old Citroen at about 2500 revs I
was doing a bit over 70mph.
