Hi group, Ok I got my multimeter today cheapy from maplins. connected it all up after reaidng the instructions. here are my readings. Battery test while car was off: 12.9v

The laguna heater knob is stuck on minimum Blue setting and will not turn how ever much force i use. I wondered if anyone knew a why this might be. Many thanks!

With the engine switched on the hand brake warning light is flickering or going out prior to me taking the hand brake off. Is this just a hiccup or signs of electrical problems. (as far as I can see other warning lights are working)

It's an Mk1 Mondeo and the bearing noise is annoying. The judder when starting isn't helpful either! Judder probably means that the oil seals should also be renewed. What else should be renewed "once we're there"?

I left the trusty old cavalier at my father's house whilst I went on holiday for 2 weeks. I told him there was no need to drive or run it to charge the battery. However, when I returned he informed me that he had "run it for a few minutes to charge the battery", ugh.
