HELP! I'm marooned at work!16 Feb 2007 17:21 GMT7
I've got a Mk 3 Petrol Golf 1.8 CL '94, and on the way into work this
morning it started running unevenly. It got worse and worse, with the
throttle pulsing up and down and sometimes stalling. When I finally
got to work it stalled at the main gate and would not restart.

head gasket and K-Seal16 Feb 2007 13:42 GMT5
The head gasket has blown on my S reg Renault Megane 1.4 and I've been told
that a product called K-Seal is worth trying as an alternative to a costly
repair, in the region of £380 - £550. Has anyone used this before and does
it work with a blown head gasket?

Does anyone know how to test the various sensors on yer typical petrol

tps and lambda but I've no idea what numbers/resistance etc. I'm looking
for.

New Zetec 1.25l engine for Fiesta15 Feb 2007 17:11 GMT22
I decided not to go the knackered-car-and-swap-engines route and am now
looking at recon engines.  I have had a quote from Heathrow Engines
(reconditioned-engines.co.uk)for a new engine including fitting for £795
plus VAT.  This is apparently a brand new engine, not a recon or
Renault Scenic - read ABS fault codes15 Feb 2007 13:29 GMT2
Is there any easy way to read ABS fault codes from a 2003 Renault
Scenic please? I have got an OBD-II reader, but that will only look at
engine data. Is it a software or a hardware thing that I can't see
other codes, or is all that stuff still proprietary? Googling didn't

have the filter in and couldn't get it until about 6 days time!!!! The guys
said that I needed the Premium semi synthetic oil at £21 for the lil old Pug

Suggestions / Theories wanted - engine running rough intermittently15 Feb 2007 05:19 GMT11
Can anyone suggest a reason why my car would be running rough when cruising
