2000 105JTD Sometimes 'her' Multipla will not start. It either starts immediately or just turns over and over not firing. Do these have a factory fitted immobiliser? It has no alarm.

I have been topping up my oil and had a look at my battery. On the top of the battery there are 4 circles with crosses in them like you could use a philips screwdriver to open them. Could anyone tell me whats under them and if they should be tampered with.

While reading the "petrol in a diesel car" thread, I had a thought. If a larger amount of petrol was accidentally put in the tank, could top it up with veg oil in to thicken it up again? Veg oil has to be heated up to 80C to have the same viscosity as diesel.

I noticed my car battery has an LED in the middle, under a viewing lens. It's not lit, but appears it's greenish in colour. Does this serve a notable purpose? Does it only emit light when the battery's low? If so, green seems a stupid colour choice... Or more
