the speedo drive of my Skoda Felicia (1998 1.9 diesel, non turbo, VW engine,
engine code AEF) into the transmission. Since then I've been driving it
hoping that the gearbox would just mash the plastic to ...

Punto differential - Help urgently please!31 Mar 2007 21:41 GMT10
Took my Fiat Punto in for a clutch repair, and the garage said that there
was also a problem with the gearbox.
What they said was 'the crown wheel has sheared off the pinion' because of a
sheared weld.
Ka - Water in drivers footwell31 Mar 2007 19:23 GMT11
My "ex-wife-to-be"s 03 Ka has started getting water in the driver's
footwell. It doesn't have antifreeze in it, so it isn't coming from
the heater matrix behind the centre console - thank goodness. It is
therefore probably rain water, but the door and windscreen seals look

choosing optional extras and factory production runs31 Mar 2007 17:49 GMT3
when choosing optional extras and internal trim colors, would choosing
a weird combination delay your cars production and delivery?

Fiesta Finesse LX 1.25 200331 Mar 2007 17:37 GMT4
Got a Fiesta Finesse LX 1.25 2003 reg, it seems to have a fault...
When accelerating, the acceleration is not smooth it seems jumpy, and
when in neutral at a stop, the car pulses/throbs and the rev counter
jumps around the 1000 mark...
cv gaiter31 Mar 2007 15:29 GMT2
I've just noticed that the nsf cv gaiter has 1.5" split in it. There's
a fair amount of grease leaked out of it around the hub carrier and
suspension arm but the CV joint is still lubed up pretty well. It had
an MOT a week ago so it's pretty recent. Problem is that I need the
Can exhaust/manifold hole cause 'wobble'?30 Mar 2007 23:40 GMT7

Dodgy petrol and a still sickly vauxhall zafira.30 Mar 2007 22:35 GMT14

MOT oddness30 Mar 2007 22:09 GMT15
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but I did a quick check on the MOT
history of the 156 this evening....
Last year, it was given advisories on perishing front suspension bushes.
I told my wife not to worry about them until the suspension became noisy

Hi Guys
My sister's 1997 Fiesta 1.3 stalls often when coming to a halt.
