hello,anybody heard of car doors that lock themselves? other than the
drivers door they will lock straight away or maybe five minutes
later.getting to the point now we can not get in or out of the
car.there is a clicking coming from the fuse box area but i cant tell

I have taken a picture of the front of the underside of my car (dads car) a
mk4 golf. The metal shield is a sump plug shield which was replaced as the
old one was a plastic one not very good at protecting should it be whacked.
So basically where can I jack up from and put axle ...

Why do people, when selling cars, insist on covering up their number plates
with a bit of card, or colouring them out in Paint Shop Pro (or whatever)?
What exactly is it supposed to achieve or prevent?

I have a slightly wierd problem with my 2001 A6 2.5TDI saloon
I went to open it with key fob and did one click for the driver door then
two to open the passenger doors as normal.

the engine's got 226K on it. Even for a diesel this seems high to me and
I'd expect to have to replace it at some point. What would I be looking at

I was thinking it might be a quicker way of not messing about with the sump
plug.
