| Replacement diesel engine for Renault Laguna | 27 Mar 2007 19:42 GMT | 7 |
The engine on my Laguna DCI diesel estate has just blown in the most spectacular manner: a sudden loss of power, a strange whineing noise and then BAM! - a huge plume of smoke that must have blinded the drivers behind me and several hundreds yards later I come to a complete

The Niss. dealers nearest to me are total cr**! The list of moans I have about them (apart from the HUGE wait everytime I go there) would take up too much space - so I just wonder if anyone can recommend a Nissan parts supplier on the web?

| Follow-up to my 156 emissions fail.... | 26 Mar 2007 21:12 GMT | 20 |
The cat. has been replaced and the emissions are actually fine now. However, it's still failing the MOT because, when holding at 'fast idle' the ECU is dropping the revs from 2700 to 2200 rpm on a constant throttle - it does this for a couple of seconds then recovers back to
