Replacement diesel engine for Renault Laguna27 Mar 2007 19:42 GMT7
The engine on my Laguna DCI diesel estate has just blown in the most
spectacular manner:  a sudden loss of power, a strange whineing noise
and then BAM! - a huge plume of smoke that must have blinded the
drivers behind me and several hundreds yards later I come to a complete
Any recommendation for a *good* nissan parts supplier on the web?27 Mar 2007 17:40 GMT1
The Niss. dealers nearest to me are total cr**! The list of moans
I have about them (apart from the HUGE wait everytime I go there)
would take up too much space - so I just wonder if anyone can
recommend a Nissan parts supplier on the web?
Injector cleaning products27 Mar 2007 16:15 GMT8

The main dealership my wife takes her car to puts it in the fuel tank at
every service - I service my own car (and now probably hers as well), but
have never bothered. Is there an issue that this kind of ...

The water bottle for the windscreen wash on my car continually fills up with
slime, algy and other residues - does anyone know what's causing this? - I
have tried various additives that claim to be antifreeze, non smear etc, but
all seem to turn into solvite within a week or two. ...

speedo cable citroen AX27 Mar 2007 12:26 GMT4
Hi, need to sort my little sisters car. At the moment she can't tell
how fast she's going as speedo not working. Not so good for a learner!
Question - if the speedo is not working then I presume the cable needs
to be changed. However the mileometer is not clocking the miles. Is
Multi Storey Car Parks (A bit OT)27 Mar 2007 11:00 GMT19
Has anyone else wondered who designs them with such tight turns and walls
that are there to scrape your car?
The ramps just don't flow.
Any ideas why?

Brake pipe for Cit ZX27 Mar 2007 00:05 GMT5

Housing for car radio26 Mar 2007 23:33 GMT4
I'm after a ready made housing to take a standard size car radio - not for
use in a car, though. Needs to be fairly strong, and a full box rather
than three sides only type for under shelf mounting. The usual places
don't seem to have anything.
Follow-up to my 156 emissions fail....26 Mar 2007 21:12 GMT20
The cat. has been replaced and the emissions are actually fine now.
However, it's still failing the MOT because, when holding at 'fast idle'
the ECU is dropping the revs from 2700 to 2200 rpm on a constant
throttle - it does this for a couple of seconds then recovers back to
