The missus's Volvo 850 M reg estate has developed an odd metallic

It is only noticeable when traveling very slowly - 2-3 mph.  It is
coming from the front.  It sounds like clutch plates (?) but the noise
One of those 'my mate's car is making a funny noise' threads30 Apr 2007 19:58 GMT4
A mate of mine's got a 1998-ish (R reg) Escort 1.6 (Halewood, natch)
which is making a knocking noise and also intermittently juddering and
losing power. Most of the time it's fine, and the problems don't seem to
be related to speed/cornering etc. Fuel consumption seems OK.

New wheel for Nissan Sunny30 Apr 2007 07:30 GMT3
My daughter has a G-reg Honda Sunny 1.6 GS auto. She recently had a

going to the tyre depot to get a new tyre, she has now discovered that
said "gentleman" did not put the original wheel back in the boot.... ...
Write Offs & Insurance Companies29 Apr 2007 23:16 GMT2
I have an issue with my old insurance company (directline).
Had an accident in August, and they took my vehicle and inspected it
with a view to repair (fully comp, but accident largely my fault).
They deemed it a total loss, and wanted to write it off and pay out
