Ford Mondeo V6 won't start.09 Apr 2007 22:28 GMT8
The engine turns over easily enough but there it just won't fire.
I have checked all the engine management related fuses and relays as
best I can and they all seem fine.
The battery had just been recharged and refitted. I started it up and
MOT queries09 Apr 2007 20:18 GMT18
I'm a newbie on this site but feeling ignorant and potentially
cheated, so wanted to ask for your advice!
Have just had my MOT failed for a cut in one of the tyres. It was
tested today, but the certificate doesnt run out until 11th April.
Senator, Carlton, Omega autos09 Apr 2007 19:40 GMT5
A project for this year is to fit a four speed auto to the SD1, and I'm
told there is a near identical GM four speed fitted to a Carlton. In other
words, by simply swapping the bellhousing, it fits the Rover V-8 without
any mods at that end of things -  it's basically the same GM ...
2002 Passat front suspension09 Apr 2007 11:29 GMT3
I'm about to change the front springs on my Passat I checked to see what I
need to do for the job and I note that the upper spring plate needs to set
at 11 deg ± 2 deg. I assume that if I place a mark on the plate and other
related parts with paint when I reassemble the strut as ...

I have a 1997 P reg. Ford Fiesta Automatic. I just bought the car and

I have a Vectra 2.0 DTI 1998, it runs very smoothly, it is almost
138,000 miles. yesterday I went to KwikFit to change oil and filter

Fan permanently on on Rover 2507 Apr 2007 19:13 GMT5
The fan on my wifes Rover 25 comes on when I start the engine, and stays on
until it is turned off. I suspect (obviously) the temperature sensor has
gone, but when I looked for it I found two sensors attached next to each
other, one coming out sideways from the pipe, and the ...

'Motoring Accessory Stores'07 Apr 2007 16:42 GMT11
Are all, without exception, a bunch of useless bastards.
My local motor factor closed down last year, so I don't have anywhere I
can just pop out to anymore.
I need 4 x rubber 'doughnut' type exhaust hangers.
